Pen’s 50th Birthday Bash!

Get ready Niagara, as the Pen Centre celebrates 50 years of retailing success!
This community anniversary party features a day of activities and celebrations! There will be free birthday cake and root beer, Pen Centre anniversary CD’s containing hits from the 50’s & 60’s, special displays and artifacts from the past five decades, a vintage car show and draws for some great prizes.
The entertainment line-up starts at 11 with Flashpoint DJ services playing Vinyl hits from the past! St. Catharines’ own FlatBroke takes the stage at 1 p.m. followed by Good Rockin’ Tonight, a musical tribute featuring the sounds of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Roy Orbison, the Everly Brothers, Carl Perkins & Jerry Lee Lewis.

PEN CENTRE PARADE SHUTTLE

Forget about the hassle of parking on parade day. Catch a free shuttle bus from the Pen Centre to the Pen Centre Grande Parade. Each rider will receive one ballot for a chance to win some great Pen Centre prizes!
Buses will run from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (Every 10 minutes depending on traffic.)

 

 

3rd Annual WALK-A-MILE-IN-HER SHOES for Gillian’s Place

Are you man enough to join us and strap on a pair of heels? By joining other men and walking together through the Pen Centre you show women you want to work together in making the world a safer place for all mothers, sisters and daughters.
All proceeds from this fundraising walk will go towards Gillian’s Place, (formally Women’s Place,) the only organization that provides a safe emergency shelter and specialized services for abused women and their children from Grimsby, Lincoln, Niagara-on-the-Lake, St. Catharines, Thorold and West Lincoln.
By participating in this unique event, you will be stating that violence against women and children is not just a women’s issue and that women and men must work together towards creating a violence free world.

Come to the professionals for all your Christmas gift- wrapping! Volunteers will put the final touches on your parcels to make them look fantastic under the tree! Cost of wrap ranges from $1 - $6, depending on size, and all proceeds go to the charity.

Join us in the Food Court and hear the beautiful songs of over 600 Niagara area school children participating in the Pen Centre’s Christmas School Choir program. Each weekday, various school choirs will be performing in our Food Court area. Come out and give them your support! Special thanks to the District School Board of Niagara and Niagara Catholic District School Board for their amazingly talented singers!
